My Story
I believe that every woman deserves to have a safe and satisfying birth experience, and that experience is different for each woman. My purpose is to assist you in identifying your vision and help you make it a reality.
I feel that serving another woman during birth is a calling that has been put on me. I can't point to a singular experience or moment when I realized this was my passion. It's always been in me. I had considered becoming a doula for several years but didn't know where or how to start. When a friend asked me to support her in her birth it became clear that it was time. It was a natural thing for me to do. Since then I have been honored to attend a wide range of births including vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC), home birth, medicated, unmedicated, ceserean sections and more. I am also certified in the Rebozo technique, I have taken a training in Spinning Babies and I served as the membership director for San Diego Birth Network.
My interest in birth began at a young age. Growing up, I was surrounded by women with empowering birth experiences which they shared openly. When the time came for me to have my own children, I knew I wanted similar experiences. This lead me to seek out a doula to help support me during labor. The addition of her to my birth team helped make it a positive experience. Since that time I have learned that women are empowered in birth when they are educated, have choices, are supported, and feel heard. My goal is to make women aware that this type of experience is possible for them too.
Daughter I Sister I Wife I Friend

I am a southern California native, and have lived in North County San Diego since the age of five. I graduated from Rancho Buena Vista High School. My husband and I met at Palomar College and have been married since 2004. We moved to Thousand Oaks in April 2018. We have a daughter (8) and a son (4). In 2012 I left my job at an oral surgery office to stay home with our kids full-time. We have a lot of family in the area, and we see them often. I started running in 2015, and I have completed several half marathons and one full marathon. In January 2018, I began to explore the exciting world of trail running and I'm a member of the Conejo Valley Trail Runners. We spend our free time meeting friends for playdates and taking trips to the pool and parks.
